Nonablative fractional resurfacing laser treatments to acne scars

Acne scars are pockets of collagen destruction due to inflammatory acne breakouts or picking of the skin to resolve the acne. In order to treat the scars, collagen needs to be replaced will filler (such as Restylane or Perlane) and/or the skin needs to be resurfaced by repeated treatments of chemical peels or laser treatments.
