Cryotherapy or curettage is the most common and quickest method of treatment. Lesions in the genital region may be poorly defined. Multiple treatments may be needed and recurrence is more common in this area. 5-fluorouracil may be helpful in identifying borders and treating the areas at the same time. Imiquimod 5% cream is a newer topical agent that can also eradicate Bowen's disease lesions in difficult to treat areas.
